Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority
The Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority
(ACHRA) was created in December 1994. Economic development
powers were added in June 2007. The ACHRA is responsible
for the administration of federal, state and Anoka County
programs.
Housing and Redevelopment Services
ACHRA currently provides housing and redevelopment
services to the following communities:
- Bethel
- Centerville
- Columbia Heights
- Columbus
- East Bethel
- Ham
Lake
- Hilltop
- Lexington
- Linwood Township
- Nowthen
- Oak
Grove
- Ramsey
- Spring Lake Park
- St. Francis.
Economic Development Services
ACHRA provides economic development services to the
following communities:
- Centerville
- Columbia

- St. Francis.
Participation in economic development efforts promotes:
- a regional
approach to projects,
- improved access to technical assistance and capital,
- better access to funding programs for business,
and
- reinvestment in commercial neighborhoods through
rehabilitation, acquisition, and demolition.
