Main Street (CSAH 14) from Thrush to Crane Streets in Coon Rapids

What we are doing: Key components of the project include:

• Widen Main Street to four lanes, as well as widen shoulders.
• Add a center median and dedicated turn lanes.
• Replace and optimize traffic signals.
• Replace existing land bridge which spans poor and unstable soils.

How traffic is affected: As of Tuesday, July 19, this project is open to all traffic. Press Release Final turf establishment and project clean up work will continue and is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.

Project Benefits: Improve safety and move traffic more efficiently by improving pavement structure and traffic signal optimization.
