Main Street (CSAH 14) and I-35E Interchange Reconstruction in Lino Lakes/ Centerville

Project Partners: Anoka County, City of Lino Lakes, City of Centerville, and MnDOT

This project is now COMPLETE and open to traffic.

Start Date: April 2010

End Date: June 2011

What we are doing: Key components of the project include:

• Replace and lengthen freeway entrance and exit ramps.
• Construct three traffic signals and adding turn lanes.
• Adding lanes to Main Street and constructing a center median to reduce conflict points.
• Replacement of bridge over I-35E to accommodate four lanes of traffic.

How traffic is affected: As of Thursday, June 30, 2011, work on this project is now complete. The bridge and corresponding ramps are now open to traffic.

Project Benefits: Improve safety and reduce traffic congestion.
