Facilities Management is responsible for the custodial, mechanical, structural and grounds maintenance of the Courthouse, Correctional Facility, Parking Ramp and Government Center facilities, the Government Center in Columbia Heights, the Human Service Center Building and the Sheriff’s Patrol Station. The department provides mechanical maintenance service to the Corrections' department facilities located at the Rum River Human Services Center and the Anoka County Corrections Center in Lino Lakes. The department oversees/coordinates construction and remodeling projects to include planning, budget management and construction observation. Other responsibilities include remodeling, employee relocation, property lease management, shipping and receiving, central stores, telecommunications, mailroom operations, switchboard and recycling.
