Mission: The mission of the Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, in accordance with MN Statutes, Section 469.001, is:
to provide a sufficient supply of adequate, clean and safe dwellings in order to protect the safety, health, morals and welfare of the citizens of Anoka County,
to clear and redevelop blighted areas,
to remedy the shortage of housing for low and moderate income residents, and
to provide housing for people of all incomes.
The Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (ACHRA) was created in December 1994. Economic development powers were added in June 2007. The ACHRA is responsible for the administration of federal, state and Anoka County programs.
