Tenant-Based Rental Assistance

Anoka County provides funding for several Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) programs providing housing assistance to low-income persons and families. The TBRA programs are used to make affordable housing for households that would otherwise be at risk of homelessness.

TBRA provides assistance to households who do not have sufficient income to pay for market rent housing without seriously limiting their ability to obtain food, clothing, medical or other essential needs.

Alexandra House TBRA funds are used to provide TBRA subsidies to individuals and families who are victims of domestic abuse.
Rise, Inc. TBRA funds are used to provide rental subsidies to individuals and families with physical or mental disabilities.
