Fair Housing

Anoka County is part of the metro-wide Fair Housing Implementation Council that is working to address Fair Housing issues.

In 2009, a Regional Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing was completed. The analysis took a look at issues and the relationship between fair housing and affordable housing. Also within this analysis there was an assessment of Fair Housing activities looking at the enforcement and jurisdictional activities. After the analysis was completed a summary and a response were completed to further distinguish problems and impediments. With this information Anoka County and other local jurisdictions are working to address the impediments and barriers found in the report.
