Anoka County participates in Minnesota Housing Finance Agency's (MHFA) mortgage programs. These programs provide fixed, low-interest loans to qualified first-time home buyers. Additional funds may also be available to qualified buyers for closing costs and down payment. (Mobile homes do not qualify for funding unless they are permanently attached to a lot and taxed as real property.) The program starts April 16, 2012 and ends December 16, 2012 or when funds are spent, whichever occurs first.
